Rhythmus-Filmtheater

The Rhythmus-Filmtheater is a non-profit cinema club, founded on 15 November 2000 and still run by volunteers. It plays in the assembly hall of the Gesamtschule at Am Hallenbad 4, with a ramp into the auditorium. Since the hall was renovated in 2022 the club has projected with a 4K laser projector onto a larger screen, with 7.1 multichannel sound. Usually a new film arrives each week, playing Fridays at 19:50, Sundays at 18:50 and Tuesdays at 19:50. On the first weekend of the month the Familienkino runs on Saturday and Sunday at 14:50. Almost every month there is also a Mittwochskino, often with a guest for a discussion. Tickets are sold only at the door, cash only; a regular ticket is 6 euros, the Familienkino 5 euros.
