The Regina-Filmtheater on Pfarrer-Dr.-Vogl-Straße in Pegnitz was already showing films in the 1950s. Today it runs current releases and 3D screenings with digital picture and sound. Compared with the 1990s the cinema has cut its seat count by more than half to leave more room between the rows. There are no reservations and seating is unassigned. Tickets are sold only at the box office, which opens an hour before each show. An evening show at 8 pm costs 7 euros, 5 euros on Mondays, and 3D adds a 2.50 euro surcharge. The counter serves popcorn made fresh daily, nachos with house-made dips and coffee drinks.
