The Prestige Filmtheater on Mühlgrabenweg opened on 16 October 1992, after almost three years of building work in the former Central-Lichtspieltheater (Celi). Künzelsau had been without a cinema since 1984. Two more halls were added in 2001. Kino 1 has 131 seats and Dolby 3D, Kino 2 has 117 seats, including a premium box of 12 reclining leather armchairs. The Sofa Lounge Kino 3 seats 28 on sofas and armchairs. Besides the current releases the house runs series such as Kunst im Kino and Englisch Originalton, which shows films in the original English version.
