The OLi-Kino is in Magdeburg's Stadtfeld district and was planned by Carl Krayl in 1936 in the Bauhaus style. The Donnerstagsfilm (Thursday film) usually starts at 19:00. School holidays bring children's screenings, and in December the house shows Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel and Die Feuerzangenbowle, served with real Feuerzangenbowle punch. Otherwise the programme is mostly comedy nights and theatre. The house has its own bar, the OLi TrinkBar, and changing exhibitions in the foyer. Tickets are sold in the online shop and at the box office on Thursdays from 17:00 to 19:00.
