Europaplatz 3, 63128 Dietzenbach
The MAIN Kino D is in the basement of the Capitol Dietzenbach at Europaplatz 3, right next to the town hall. It plays from late September to May, every Tuesday and Wednesday at 19:30 and on selected weekend days. From June to September the cinema takes a summer break and the Maingau Open-Air-Kino runs at the Waldschwimmbad instead. Every second Thursday of the month there is a seniors' screening at 15:00 for 5 euros. Every other Sunday at 16:00 the house shows a family film, with a family ticket for four people at 20 euros. The sound system was renewed in September 2021 and upgraded with VPT INTENSE 3D, paid for with funding from the Filmförderungsanstalt.
