Lichtspielhaus Groß-Gerau

The Lichtspielhaus in Groß-Gerau is run by Anja Wenz, with its entrance at Mittelstraße 2a. The house includes the Cinebar, where weekend matinees come with a breakfast buffet. Doors open at 10:15, the film starts around 11:00, and film, buffet, coffee and tea cost 26 euros together. In the cinema courtyard the Glühlicht is open Friday to Sunday from 18:30 to 22:00, serving Palatinate wine, draught beer, Flammkuchen and baguettes. On Tuesdays at 17:45 and 20:15 the VHS-Freundeskreis runs its Kommunales Kino here, and those films are not in the house's own programme. Tickets are reserved by telephone only, on (06152) 2521, and collected at the box office 30 minutes before the show on the day. Card payment is not accepted.
