The LichtSpiel is a club-run cinema in the KulturStellmacherei at Oststraße 31 in Schneverdingen. The association LichtSpiel e.V. was founded on 1 October 2013, and the cinema opened on 14 June 2014 after about 3000 hours of volunteer work by its members. The hall has 53 seats, 4K projection, 3D and Dolby 7.1. Evening shows run on Saturdays and Sundays at 19:00, the children's programme on Sundays at 15:00. With the Kulturverein the house shows documentaries on Wednesdays, and with the Stadtjugendring a blockbuster night on one Friday a month. There are also relays from the Royal Opera House London. Tickets cost 8.50 euros, 6.00 euros for children and teenagers up to 17.
