LichtBlick Büsum

The LichtBlick cinema is on the top floor of the Watt'n Hus at Südstrand 11, close to Büsum's harbour and looking out to sea. It has two air-conditioned halls, Kino 1 with 332 seats and Kino 2 with 56, and one of them doubles as an event hall. Projection is laser, 3D included. There is also an open-air venue with 100 seats. The programme runs from blockbusters and family films to selected arthouse titles, with knitting cinema evenings and the house's own documentary about the North Sea, "Nordlicht". The bar serves Dithmarscher beer and freshly made popcorn. Tickets can no longer be reserved, because reserved tickets were often left uncollected. The operator is LichtBlick FTB GmbH of Heide. The cinema opens half an hour before the first screening.
