The Kurhaustheater is tucked away in the building complex of the Auenlandklinik on Oskar-Alexander-Straße. The hall opened in 1958, seats more than 400 and has kept its 1950s character. Since autumn 2024 K&B Kinobetriebe, who run the Beluga Kino in Quickborn, have shown a film here every Tuesday at 19:00. Their agreement with the town was renewed in summer 2026. The programme is recent films, many of them German productions, and before Christmas the classic Schöne Bescherung. A ticket costs 9 euros, or 7 euros for children and teenagers up to 17.
