The Kurfilmtheater at Oststraße 6 is the oldest of Oberstdorf's cinema halls and is still fitted with its original furnishings. It has 180 seats. Films are projected with a Sony 4K digital projector, 3D runs on RealD, and there is also a 35 mm projector. Sound is DTS, Dolby Digital and Dolby SR. The programme mixes current releases with classics. The house has been a member of Europa Cinemas since January 2010.
