Äußere Weberstraße 17, 02763 Zittau
The Kronenkino at Äußere Weberstraße 17 is the oldest cinema in Zittau. It has been showing films again since 2006 and also hosts concerts, readings and theatre. The house is run by Hillersche Villa gGmbH, and the programme is put together with the Kulturfabrik Meda. Films usually screen on Wednesdays at 19:30, and admission is generally 8 euros, 6 euros reduced. In the O-Ton Kino series the cinema shows films in the original language with German subtitles. The building has served several times as a set for film shoots.
