The Programmkino of the KREML Kulturhaus is at Burgschwalbacher Straße 8 in Zollhaus, part of Hahnstätten. The house also has a café, a youth art school and a multi-generation centre. The cinema plays Wednesday to Sunday, showing about 160 films a year, around 40 of them for children. Since January 2001 a short film has run before the main feature. Under the name Film Specials it shows documentaries and films with a regional connection. In July and August there is open-air cinema on the grounds from Thursday to Saturday. The house has won several awards for its programme, among them the Bundesfilmpreis Kino and the Filmtheaterprogrammpreis Rheinland-Pfalz.
