Kommunales Kino Offenburg

The Kommunales Kino Offenburg shows its films in the KiK (Kultur in der Kaserne) at the Kulturforum, Weingartenstraße 34c. The film nights are put on by KoKi Offenburg e.V. The KiK itself is run by Kulturkreis Offenburg e.V., which has built its own cultural programme there since 1983 and by its own count holds around 100 events a year. Tickets usually cost 5 euros and are sold only at the door, which mostly opens half an hour before the start. On Strick Kino nights knitters meet from 6.30 pm with Veronika Hug and Petra Bäck, and the film starts at 8 pm. Line S3 runs from the station to the Kulturforum stop; on foot it takes about 20 minutes.
