Kommunales Kino Guckloch Donaueschingen

Since 2004 the Kommunales Kino guckloch from Villingen-Schwenningen has had a second venue in Donaueschingen. Its last home was the former Cinéma of the French forces, which was demolished at the end of 2023. Since March 2024 the cinema has been at An der Donauhalle 5, directly opposite the Donauhallen. The volunteer team converted two former office rooms for it, largely by their own hands. The hall has 72 seats and can be extended to 95 when needed. The screen measures 5.60 x 2.40 metres, with 2K digital projection and 5.1 Dolby Surround sound. Short films regularly run before the features, and at every screening a member of the team gives a short introduction to the film.
