Königswall 97, 32423 Minden
The Kleines Kino am Weingarten is a club cinema in Minden's upper old town, founded in 2024 and run by volunteers. It is a guest in the Kleines Theater am Weingarten of the Volkshochschule Minden-Bad Oeynhausen, on the first floor of Königswall 97. The Jazz Club Minden is in the basement. The auditorium has 99 seats. Films run on two to four days a month, often two to an evening. The programme favours current arthouse and repertory films, with accompanying events and the club's own series such as the Finnland Film Fest. Tickets usually cost 8 euros, 5 euros reduced, online through Eventbrite or at the box office. The auditorium cannot currently be reached by lift. Food and drink are not allowed in the cinema.
