The Kinowelt at Strandstraße 9 in Westerland has four auditoriums with 210, 84, 84 and 39 seats. All project digitally in 2K, and Saal 1 has 7.1 Dolby Digital sound. Saal 3 also keeps an analogue Ernemann 15 projector. Alongside current releases the house screens Metropolitan Opera and Royal Ballet performances. A sneak preview runs at 8 pm on the first Tuesday of each month for 6.50 euros, admission 18 and over. On Mondays adults pay 8.50 euros instead of 11.50 euros.
