The Kino am Tegernsee is on Tegernseer Straße in Rottach-Weißach and is run by Carmen Obermüller. It has two halls, the Hirschberg with 71 seats and the Wallberg with 63. In both, row 6 is a VIP row with eight luxury seats, and the rows are 1.20 metres apart. Monday and Tuesday are Kinotag, when adults pay 9.50 instead of 12.00 euros. The cinema is closed on Thursdays. Besides the current releases it shows live relays from the Metropolitan Opera, the Royal Ballet and the Royal Opera, the Filme in Originalversion series with subtitled originals and, on some Sunday mornings, the Filme für Kinoanfänger for first-time cinemagoers.
