The Kino Wesenberg was built in 1936/37 as a film theatre, with a brick and render show facade and the auditorium as a plain building behind it. It is a listed building. It closed before the fall of the Wall and reopened in 2001 after a full renovation. The hall is lined in red velvet, rises towards the back and has 107 seats. The house calls itself an independent country cinema in a town of just over 3,000 people and shows every genre, action films as much as art-house titles.
