Gießener Straße 15, 35423 Lich
The Kino Traumstern at Gießener Straße 15 is run by Hans Gsänger and Edgar A. Langer as the Kino Traumstern Kollektiv, and celebrated its 40th anniversary in October 2023. Many films are preceded by a short. Some films also play in the original language with German subtitles, for example during the CINEMA! ITALIA! festival tour. On the cinema's stage, the association künstLich e.V. puts on concerts and readings. Since June 2025, 400 solar panels on the roof of the neighbouring building have supplied power for the cinema. Admission is 9 euros, or 6 euros for under-16s. There is free parking opposite at Gießener Straße 24. The house is a member of AG Kino and of Europa Cinemas.
