Kaydeich 15a, 25849 Pellworm
Pellworm's island cinema plays in the Pellwormer Bürgerhus at Kaydeich 15a. It is run by volunteers of the Kino Klub Pellworm e.V., founded on 17 August 2019 with 60 members, which has been running the cinema again since autumn 2019. Films run on Kinotage, mostly Friday to Sunday, with several films a day. The room has 60 seats, digital projection and surround sound. The old projector failed on New Year's Day 2022. Funding from the AktivRegion Uthlande and a crowdfunding campaign that raised more than 29,000 euros paid for new equipment, and the cinema reopened on Maundy Thursday 2022. Tickets cost 8 euros, 6 euros reduced, and payment is cash only. Seats are reserved by email, text message or phone. Some films get an extra screening in the original with subtitles.
