The Kino im Schillerhof is on Helmboldstraße in Wenigenjena, a short way from the centre of Jena. It has two screens. The Blauer Saal seats 102 in front of a 7 by 3 metre screen, projects digitally in 4K with 7.1 sound, and also has a 35 mm projector used for the 35MM-Kino series. The Roter Saal is a small studio with digital projection and 5.1 sound. Monday is OmU day, when films run in the original with German subtitles where possible. The Schillerhof also has a café. Its sister cinema is the Kino am Markt.
