The KiezKino plays inside the Film-Shop at Erzbergerstraße 12, a video rental store that calls itself the oldest in the world. Both are run by the Randfilm GbR. The programme comes in blocks rather than a weekly rhythm: series like the Randfilm Nights, the annual Randfilmfest, and single special evenings. The version is stated on every screening, and the same film can play subtitled one night and dubbed the next. The KiezKino received the Hessischer Kinopreis in 2023 and 2024. Tickets are 8 euros, 7 reduced, 5 on Thursdays; during the Randfilmfest they are 10 euros, 8 reduced. Reservations are made by email or phone, there is no online sale.
