The Kaisersaal-Lichtspiele in Münster (Hesse) is a family business. The family has been making cinema since 1936, today as the Herzing-Müller family. The auditorium seats 194 on historic cinema seats with plenty of legroom, and since September 2011 it has had a 40-square-metre silver screen. Films play Friday to Monday, with a children's film at 3 pm at weekends. The CinemaPlus series began in 2000 together with the municipality of Münster and runs on the first and second Wednesday of the month. Each October the audience votes on the following year's programme, and since 2020 these screenings come with a three-course menu served in the auditorium. The house also has a restaurant and guest rooms.
