HEINE Kinobar

The HEINE Kinobar is on Nonnenstraße in central Görlitz, at the edge of the old town. It shows films away from the mainstream, usually at 6:15 pm and 8:30 pm, on Sundays at 5:45 pm and 7:45 pm. Shows billed as OmU-Tag run in the original language with German subtitles. The foyer is a bar serving draught beer, long drinks and espresso from Peter Büttner's roastery in Görlitz, with baguette and tuna spread to eat. It opens Thursday to Sunday from 5:30 pm, and the auditorium is air-conditioned. The Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung gave the Kinobar its Kinoprogrammpreis in 2019 and 2020.
