The Griesbräukino, called Kino Murnau on its website, is in the Griesbräu building at Obermarkt 37. The first floor once housed the Poschinger furniture factory. After it burnt out in 1955, the Regina-Kino was built in its place with 446 wooden folding seats. Since 2018 the hall has had 216 seats with 1.50 m of legroom, digital projection, 7.1 surround sound and 3D, while keeping the character of the 1955 building. Seating is unreserved. Tickets are not sold online; you reserve by phone or at the cinema. Visually and hearing impaired guests can use the Greta and Starks apps on their own smartphone with their own headphones. The operator is Georg Betzmeir, whose company also runs the O.K. Open Air Kino Staffelseeflimmern.
