The Goli on Brückenstraße opened on 15 January 1954 and survives almost entirely in its original state. There has been a cinema on this spot since February 1913, when the "Gocher Lichtspiele" opened. The old building was destroyed by bombs on 7 February 1945, and the new hall held 450 people when it opened. Regular screenings ended in 1995. Goli e.V., founded at the end of 2011, has been showing films again since then, with around 20 of its more than 100 members working as volunteers. Films mostly run on Saturdays and Sundays, at 3 pm for children and families and at 8 pm in the evening. Theatre, cabaret and readings fill the rest of the calendar. Since 2024 the building has been a listed monument on the town of Goch's register.
