Forum Velbert

In the Theatersaal of the Forum Velbert on Oststraße, the Velberter Kulturloewen, a municipal enterprise of the city of Velbert, also show films. The building was designed by the architects Behrendt and von Chamier in 1979. As the Forum Niederberg it used to serve as a theatre and civic hall (Stadthalle), and since 2020 it has been extended and rebuilt. A cinema ticket costs 8 euros, 6 euros reduced. On selected dates there is a Filmcafé for 12 euros, 10 euros reduced. Coffee and cake can only be booked at the Servicepoint in the Forum. The Theatersaal is protected in its existing form, and the rows get closer together towards the back.
