Filmgalerie

The Filmgalerie at Sonnenstraße 4 in Bad Füssing has three screens: Picasso with 159 seats, Dali with 95, and Kahlo with 59. It opened in 1988, eight years after the Kino im großen Kurhaus run by the same operator. The building was overhauled in 2015 with new seating, and a foyer extension followed in 2018. Since 2023 all three screens use laser projection, and the sound is Dolby Digital. A standard ticket is 11 euros, and on Mondays every film costs 9 euros. Alongside the regular programme the Filmgalerie runs a subtitled-originals strand and screens the Metropolitan Opera relays from New York.
