The Else-Lichtspiele in Bruchmühlen (Rödinghausen) opened in 1956 in a former cigarette factory. Films play in a single hall with 139 seats, each fitted with a table for snacks and drinks, in front of an 8 metre wide screen with a curtain. Projection has been digital since 2010, 3D included, and a 7.1 sound system has been in place since 2015. About once a month the Kinocafé shows a film on a Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm, and it requires registering in advance.
