Schulstraße 2, Lögow, 16845 Wusterhausen/Dosse
The Dorfkino Lögow is housed in the old village school at Schulstraße 2, right next to the village church. The half-timbered house dates from 1680 and was first the sexton's house, then the village school for 300 years. In 2018 its 42 square metre classroom was turned into a screening room with a bar, and the cinema opened in February 2019. The operator calls it the smallest cinema in Brandenburg: 16 armchairs, a 3.20-metre screen, a 4K projector and 8-channel sound with three subwoofers. An arthouse film plays once a week, licensed through the Filmclub Güstrow. In summer there is open-air jazz. The whole house can also be hired for private events, from 100 euros for four hours.
