Karl-Große-Straße 2, 04425 Taucha
The CT Lichtspiele on Karl-Große-Straße 2 is Taucha's cinema. A merchant built it in 1937, and Daniel Grahl has run it since 1996. Its two screens seat more than 330 guests between them, with laser projection, 3D included. Both screens have Dolby Digital 7.1, and Kino 1 adds Dolby Atmos for selected films. Kino 1 is also certified by Dolby for "Infinity Vision". Before 18:00 a reduced ticket costs 7 euros, otherwise everyone pays 9 euros. Tuesday is cinema day at 6.50 euros (except on and before public holidays).
