St. Petersburger Straße 24a, 01069 Dresden
The Kristallpalast on St. Petersburger Straße in Dresden has eight screening halls across five floors and nearly twenty-seven hundred seats. The building is a deconstructivist design by the Viennese firm Coop Himmelb(l)au, opened in 1998, and its angular glass facades have become a landmark of reunified Dresden. The name reaches back to a legendary pre-war Dresden entertainment venue. The Cineplex group took the cinema over in early 2025. The Rundkino stands a few hundred metres away.
