The CINEMA in the Angerpassage is the community cinema of Salzgitter-Bad, run by CINEMA Salzgitter-Bad GmbH. When the operator of the time decided in 1997 to close the last cinema in the district, 65 film fans came together on the initiative of the Kleinkunstbühne e.V. to save it. It reopened in April 1998 with Titanic. Since 2007 the Freundeskreis CINEMA has raised money to support it. In September 2013 the house switched to digital projection, with 21,111 euros from the Freundeskreis. Wednesday at 7 pm is Kinotag, with a free drink included in the ticket.
