Cinema Prerow

Cinema Prerow is in the centre of the Baltic resort, at Waldstraße 5, and has 152 seats. Films have been shown on this spot since 1956, first in the dance hall of the Cafe Wien. The hall was torn down and construction of the present cinema began in 1979. The operators leased it in 1995, it passed into private ownership in 1997, and after a renovation it reopened as Cinema Prerow on 14 May 1998. There is a bar in the foyer, and from April to September a soft-serve ice cream van stands on the terrace. Adults pay 11.50 euros and children under 12 pay 7.50 euros (evening shows from 6 pm and films rated 12 are full price for everyone). 3D costs a 2 euro surcharge. Advertising before the film runs ten minutes at most.
