Cinema Filmclub Leinepark

The Cinema Neustadt is the cinema of the Filmclub Leinepark e.V., in the Veranstaltungszentrum Leinepark at Suttorfer Straße 8. Film lovers from Neustadt founded the club in January 2016. Since then it has shown a film every Tuesday at 7.30 pm, arthouse fare chosen by a group of members. Special screenings come on top, often together with local initiatives and associations, as does the Familienkino on selected Sundays at 3 pm. The hall has 120 seats, and projection has been digital since 2019. Everyone involved is a volunteer, from the box office to the projection booth. nordmedia has given the programme its Kinoprogrammpreis, for 2022 for the fourth year in a row. Admission is 6 euros, 4 euros for the Familienkino. Tickets are reserved by phone or through the form on the website, where bookings close at 1 pm on the day of the screening. The box office opens 45 minutes before the start.
