Wagstraße 4a, 97199 Ochsenfurt
The Casablanca at Wagstraße 4a is an arthouse cinema and a pub in one. Georg Dawo and Gert Dobner opened it in 1982 in Ochsenfurt's former Capitol, with the pub in the foyer. The building and its equipment have been rebuilt three times, most recently in 1998. Projection has been digital since 2012, after the analogue projectors had run for almost 60 years. Since 1994 a short film has played before the main features every day. Films shown in the original with subtitles carry a "Hauptsache Original" stamp in the programme. On the second Wednesday of each month, Kino am Nachmittag plays at 14:30. Tickets are reserved by phone on 09331-1328.
