The Capitol Kinocenter has existed in Ansbach since 1956. Heinz Dunz bought it in 1977 and rebuilt it into a cinema centre with three halls in 1982. Two further halls opened at the end of 2002, bringing the house to five screens. The two new screens measure 65 and 70 square metres.
