A student cinema in HS 2010, the large lecture theatre of the round, silver-roofed Hörsaalgebäude at Universität Bremen that everyone calls the Keksdose. It has run on Wednesday evenings since the summer semester of 2019, doors at 18:30, film at 19:00, organised by a team of around twenty students who choose each semester's programme collectively from their licensor's catalogue and occasionally license a title themselves. Current releases, classics and less obvious finds, with themed evenings such as Science Cinema, KinderKino and a film quiz; projection is a Blu-ray player on the lecture hall's own AV system. Around sixteen to eighteen screenings a semester and nothing at all during the Semesterferien, so an empty page between terms is normal. For licensing reasons admission is restricted to students and university staff unless a screening says otherwise.
