The Strandbad Wendenschloss is a public lakeside bathing area at the southern edge of Köpenick, where the Dahme broadens into the waterways of Berlin's south-east, and it has hosted an open-air cinema since 2022. Wednesday screenings begin in the early evening, with the audience settling onto loungers and benches at the lakeshore. The bathing area is still in use as one, and its 1909 buildings keep their early twentieth-century leisure architecture; the cinema borrows the broad terraces for the summer. The Forum Köpenick cultural association curates the programme, which favours mainstream and family-friendly films with occasional documentaries. Tram 62 from Köpenick runs there.
