Freiluftkino Insel @ Atelier Gardens

The Freiluftkino Insel plays four nights a week from June to September on the grounds of the Atelier Gardens, the redeveloped BUFA film studios at the southern edge of the Tempelhofer Feld. The studios there are still in use. The screen stands in a clearing among their gardens, and the audience reaches it on paths through landscaped green space. There are roughly two hundred seats. The programme is arthouse cinema, festival selections, independent documentaries and shorts, with version labels leaning strongly towards OmU and OmeU.
