Hasenheide, 10967 Berlin
One of Berlin's largest open-air cinemas, set up each summer in the Volkspark Hasenheide on the Neukölln side of the Tempelhofer Berg. Two screens, the older Hauptbühne and the smaller Neue Bühne, run from late May until mid-September. The programme ranges from family matinees and recent German releases to arthouse titles in the original version. The audience sits in a natural bowl in the park, ringed by old chestnut and oak trees.
